Oil painter / art instructor for 20 years. I've exhibited in galleries, illustrated books, show with traveling expos, tattoo conventions, and my original paintings are found in art collections ranging from dark art, animation, pop surrealism, and realism.

I am an oil painter, who had my first experience with this medium at a very young age, around age 8 or 9, and didn't explore it again until my college years. I love the richness and luminous quality of oils, and the history associated with it. Even my illustration work in previous years was completed in oil paints. I appreciate the versat
I am an oil painter, who had my first experience with this medium at a very young age, around age 8 or 9, and didn't explore it again until my college years. I love the richness and luminous quality of oils, and the history associated with it. Even my illustration work in previous years was completed in oil paints. I appreciate the versatility of the medium that I can explore from my rapid alla prima paintings, to my fine art paintings built up over time. I also make small framed mixed media drawings consisting of graphite,, gold leaf, and acrylic paint.

I love teaching art and have for the last 20 years, currently in a private studio in Delaware. I enjoy the connection and growth I see in students through teaching, which is incredibly rewarding. I am currently working towards expanding my teaching online through tutorials, blog, and classes for adults-stay tuned!
