Many of you know that I am an illustrator and also a painter, but you may not know I also instruct art, and have for the past ten years. I currently instruct classes for various ages at Center for the Creative Arts located in historic Yorklyn, DE. I am well know as being their primary private art lesson instructor and have worked diligently the past eight years to expand this program and provide quality one on one instruction with students of various ages. My primary focus in the visual arts is drawing/ painting traditional and representational art, as this is the foundation of all areas and where students learn to ‘see’ and learn to foster their observational skills.
I also have helped students for the last eight years preparing portfolios for application into various art college programs, and the local Cab Calloway School of the arts, with an immense turn around rate for acceptance.
Below are just a few examples of student work over the years, ranging from age 7 to 16th. I also instruct adults as well.
If you’re in the DE / PA area are interested in private instruction, please email me directly: firstname.lastname@example.org.
